Introduction

In this course, you will gain insights and learn about educational leadership research and practices in the Finnish context and education system. 

There are six themes for this course. After introduction, in theme 2, we will look at the concepts of educational leadership in Finland. In theme 3, we consider Finnish educational policy. In theme 4, we will focus on how the Finnish education system has evolved into what it is today and on what we expect it to be like in the near future. In theme 5, we present the Finnish education governance system. In theme 6, we close the course by summarizing and synthesizing the main points in theme six.
