In this section, we will outline what good life could look like in a sustainability transformation. The section covers the major societal developments relevant to the sustainability transformation, just transition, values for sustainable life and the role of art in furthering cultural transformation. These topics have been studied to a great extent, but carrying out the sustainability transformation requires – now and always – open-ended discussion between all actors of a society. We hope that this section – and the entire course – gives you tools that make it easier for you to participate in the discussion and in building sustainable societies.
The section has been divided into five chapters which can each be found in its own separate tab.
At the end of the section, there is a mandatory exercise which covers the contents of the entire section. Study chapters 4.1–4.5 and test your knowledge afterwards.
Finally, after studying this fourth section you can test your competence with the exam. The exam is below.
Take the exam in order to pass this section of the course. Again, the statements in the exam are either true or false. Which one is the right answer?
Just answer the questions, and after you have finished your exam and completed it you will get your test result. You need 9 out of 12 questions to be right to pass the exam. You will get the results and feedback right after finishing the exam.
You will be able to try again until you pass the exam. However, there is a two-hour delay between the retake and the previous attempt.
